How to Build a Personal Brand Using FacebookBe Like Neil Patel, Gary Vaynerchuk or Seth Godin!

How to Build
Seth Godin, Gary Vee, Guy Kawasaki. What do they all have in common? They have extremely large personal brands. Hey, everyone, I'm Neil Patel. Today, I'm going to teach you how to build
a personal brand leveraging Facebook.

Facebook's the most popular social network
out there. According to alexa.Com, it's the third most
popular site. With Facebook, you can leverage it to build
a huge brand. I'm going to show you how within a few steps.

The first thing you need to do is post on
a daily basis. If you're not engaging on a daily basis, then
you're not going to build a big brand. You could be posting motivational quotes,
you could be posting things that are related to your industry, you could be posting daily
videos. Whatever you're posting, it has to be related
to the type of personal brand that you want to build.

For example, with me, I want to be known as
an online marketer. If you look at the content that I publish
on my Facebook fan page, it's related to online marketing. From the videos to the posts and status updates,
it's all marketing related. Sure, every once in awhile, I put in some
personal stuff as well because that's the point of social media, it's to connect with
people on the personal level, but most the content that I post is related to the industry
I'm in.

The second thing you need to do is engage
within your community. When someone leaves a comment, respond to
them. If someone messages you, again, open up that
message, read it, respond to it. Participate in groups, right? If you're not participating on pages outside
of your own fan page, you're not really participating in the community and engaging.

There's other groups, there's other pages
that are within your niche. Make sure you engage on those pages as well. Help those people. That will cause more people to come to your
fan page and like, friend you, and follow you.

The third thing you need to leverage is live
videos. Facebook's putting so much attention into
live videos because it's the new version of reality TV in which you can see what's happening
with people's daily lives. If you look at Gary Vaynerchuk, one of the
big reasons that he's created such a large personal brand is that he leverages Facebook
Live. The more live video that you end up creating,
the more quickly that your fan base is going to grow.

Because Facebook notifies people right when
you go live and it tells everyone, "Hey, check you out." If you follow those things, you'll start building
a bigger personal brand using Facebook.
